Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Singapore Strait, The Outpost Hotel is an impressive 2019 addition to the smorgasbord of accommodation options on Sentosa Island. The hotel is part of an ambitious Far East Hospitality project that merges three distinctive developments together: Village Hotel Sentosa, The Outpost Hotel, and The Barracks Hotel, the last of which will open its doors before the end of the year.

The Outpost Hotel: Modern, cosy, and adults-only

A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), The Outpost Hotel is every inch the romantic home-away-from-home for couples craving a weekend getaway outside of the city. In fact, it plays the part of the adults-only arm of Village Hotel Sentosa, having its own private lift entrance and discreet check-in lounge. Children under 12 years old are not allowed.

Checked in? Now customise your own “mini bar”

After checking in, you’ll be led to a large stash of snacks and drinks, from which you can pick and choose up to five complimentary options to be delivered to your guest room.

In addition, a Nespresso coffee machine, coffee capsules, and tea are also available. Purified drinking water is readily dispensed from a convenient tap by the sink.

The Outpost Hotel vs. Village Hotel Sentosa: Choose your ultimate swimming pool

Make no mistake, guests of The Outpost Hotel are entitled to use every swimming pool available at Village Hotel Sentosa. There is the family-friendly Adventure Pool, Children’s Play Pool for the little ones, and a quaint River Pool that meanders through an oasis of lush tropical greenery. In addition, The Outpost Hotel boasts its own adults-only pool that overlooks the South China Sea and features a small cocktail bar nestled in the shallows. You are certainly spoilt for choice!

The pool stays open long enough for you to catch the fireworks and pyrotechnics from the nearby Wings of Time show at 7.50 pm and 8.50 pm.

Close to the best Sentosa Island attractions, and the beach
